The opening of the
first-ever Buc-ee’s in Arizona
It has started, and the new travel center will commence construction in just a few brief days.
Initially established in Texas back in 1982,
Buc-ee’s is known for

Will cover 74,000 square feet, featuring 120 refueling stations and will introduce over 200 full-time positions to the region. The initial salary will significantly exceed the minimum wage, along with comprehensive benefits, a 6% matching 401(k), and three weeks of paid leave.
When this place opens, customers can explore thousands of food and beverage choices, featuring homemade fudge, Beaver Nuggets, dried meats, and freshly baked pastries.

For our inaugural location in the Grand Canyon State,” stated Stan Beard, Buc-ee’s Director of Real Estate and Development, in a press release. “Strategically situated for travelers en route to California or those heading into the jam-packed tourist hub of the Phoenix area, Goodyear will become the go-to spot.”
Buc-ee’s is a travel hub established in Texas back in 1982. This place has gained recognition for its spotless restrooms, beaver-themed character symbolizing their brand, variety of goods available, affordable fuel options, mouthwatering barbecue dishes, delectable fudge treats, as well as an impressive array showcased under what they call the “beef jerky wall.”

locations are also massive
, with the one in Arizona anticipated to be 23% bigger than a football field.
The inaugural Buc-ee’s travel hub in Arizona will be situated at 1001 N. Bullard Avenue, Goodyear.
The Buc-ee’s Arizona groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, at 10 a.m.
Mayor Joe Pizzillo along with City Council members Wally Campbell, Brannon Hampton, Laura Kaino, Vicki Gillis, Benita Beckles, and Trey Terry will be present at the event.
A spokesperson for Buc-ee’s told The Arizona Republic that the Goodyear location will open in June 2026.
