Norfolk, Va. (WAVY) — The
Bayou Bon Vivant Cajun Music, Food, and Art Festival
is making waves downtown Norfolk this weekend — and not just due to the spicy crawfish.
The yearly three-day festivity held at Town Point Park celebrates Louisiana’s rich heritage with lively Zydeco performances, genuine Cajun dishes, and craftspeople showcasing their wares from the Big Easy.
Whether you’re savoring freshly made beignets or indulging in fried alligator, the flavors are abundant.
However, as temperatures climb into the 90s, organizers are urging attendees to prioritize their safety amid the warmth.
The festival continues until Sunday.
