Canada Eyes Investments in Golden Dome Defense Shield, PM Carney Announces

OTTAWA () – Prime Minister Mark Carney informed journalists on Wednesday that Canada is considering possible investments in U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggested Golden Dome missile defense system.

On Tuesday, Trump announced that he had chosen a design for the $175 billion initiative and appointed a Space Force general to lead the program. The aim of this effort is to counteract potential threats from both China and Russia.
