Lakeside, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI)—A new outdoor archery range has opened up for public use in Lakeside.
According to the County of San Diego, the archery range situated in Kumeyaay Valley Park can be found at 10964 Ashwood Street.
The establishment, being the sole outdoor archery venue in East County, includes 10 lanes tailored for various proficiency levels, along with pathways suitable for pedestrians, car parking spots, and restrooms.
We’re thrilled to introduce this highly awaited archery range to East County,” stated Supervisor Joel Anderson, representing the county’s second supervisory district where the facility will be situated. “This addition will further enrich our area by offering all locals a fresh outdoor venue to participate in this activity.
The site chosen for the park will enhance accessibility to the sport by cutting down commute time, according to the county.
The archery range operates from 8:30 a.m. until sundown.
