The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has revealed modifications to the traffic flow in the northeastern part of the valley to facilitate new developments.

From 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19, motorists will encounter limitations at various crucial sites.
This includes Interstate 15 along with Exits 52, 54, and 58, together with Las Vegas Boulevard stretching from Nellis Boulevard up to Exit 58 (known as Apex), plus Craig Road running between Nellis and Las Vegas Boulevards.
Significant congestion is anticipated all weekend long, especially close to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Major hold-ups are expected from 2:00 p.m. until 9:30 a.m. daily.
Monday morning may be especially challenging as the festival’s conclusion coincides with the typical morning commute.
EDC attendees are advised to check the festival’s website for the latest information on location, directions, parking, and shuttles.
Drivers are advised to be careful when driving through construction areas and think about using different paths if they can.
NDOT is teaming up with Waze to ensure the public stays updated regarding scheduled highway limitations.
