Vancouver’s “Stay-at-Home Son” Takes on Jeopardy!

When questioned about the program, Liaw remained tight-lipped.

Liaw, who is 27 years old, holds a master’s degree in political science, yet this was not the credential she highlighted when speaking with host Ken Jennings during Tuesday night’s show.

Even though he is still at home, Liaw mentions that his parents are handling that situation more effectively now.

“Given that I have two victories and $38,798 to my name, I believe they’re quite satisfied,” stated Liaw.

Apart from money and content parents, Liaw mentions he is receptive to job opportunities.

If anybody out there is interested in hiring someone who can be somewhat amusing and possesses wide-ranging knowledge, please reach out,” he states. “I am currently seeking employment.

When queried about his ideal job, Liaw responded: “Something along the lines of what Anthony Bourdain pursued—a travel writer or host—or perhaps working as part of Conan O’Brien’s team.”

More feasibly, I aim to conclude my career path in either politics/legal fields or engage in some form of research.

To appear on Jeopardy!, one must complete two 50-question online exams, participate in a simulated game, and undergo an interview.

Liaw mentions that he underwent this procedure thrice prior to securing a place on the program. He recorded his segments in Los Angeles during late March.

Ever since her appearance on Tuesday evening, Liaw has been contacted by various individuals and has experienced firsthand what it feels like to have supporters.

It fills me with joy, and I’m truly thankful for the overwhelming support from total strangers,” stated Liaw. “I never imagined so many would be concerned about Jeopardy! And particularly about some jobless fellow appearing on TV.
